One of the major reasons why I am so bitterly opposed to socialism: When you centralize governmental control of everything, you make it far too easy for the monsters to exploit.

Stalin's was the single most demonic regime the world has ever seen. It was directed against the very essence of humanity in a way even the most ruthless conquerors and slaughterers such as Genghis Khan or Hitler bear no comparison to.
